Yesterday I was running all kinds of errands and didn't have much time to make a meal. I really wanted to try the shirataki noodles that I had bought and needed a protein to go with it. When I opened the fridge I saw some pork that I had dry rubbed with my adobo seasoning a few days back. I decided to add some coconut Aminos and stevia to the pork to bring the flavor more to the Asian side. If I had ginger I would have probably grate some in as well but it wasn't necessary, these pork chops turned out mighty tasty! I served them with the noodles and some of my favorite kimchi. Dinner was ready in under 10 minutes, no joke!
Ingredients
Equal parts stevia and adobo rub (see my previous post)
Coconut Aminos about a 1/2 teaspoon per chop
Ghee or coconut oil for searing
Directions
Rub stevia and adobo rub on the meat, allow to sit for a few minutes while your pan heats up
Add your Aminos to the meat and sear on high heat and bring the heat to low heat to cook through.
Enjoy with a salad, some shirataki noodles, kimchi, or anything else that sounds good.
Bon apetite!
