This morning I woke up craving my paleo oatmeal but sice it has more fruit than I can fit into my macros, I opted to experiment a little. Here is what I came up with, it was good to me :)
1 scoop Vanilla Whey Protein
1-2 tablespoons Stevia (I didn't really measure but this is to taste)
1 tablespoon Psyllium Husk
1 tablespoon Chia Seeds
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
2/3 cup Water
1 Teaspoon Whipped Topping of Choice
In a blender, mix all n'oats ingredients until smooth.
Pour into a small (6 inch) nonstick pan and cook (stirring constantly) over medium heat until it reaches the consistency you like.
Serve up with a chopped strawberry and a spoonful of whipped topping. Other good garnishes are: coconut, nut butter, grass fed butter, almond milk, and sugar free chocolate.
