Pantry Recommendations
Below are some of the items that I keep in my pantry. I have starred the very basics since it would be very expensive to go out and stock all of them at once.
Dry Storage*Flour, Almond
*Flour, Coconut - a little goes a long way I use a max of 2 cups pr month *Psyllium Husk *Stevia or Eryrthritol Liquid Stevia, flavored if desired (hazelnut, vanilla, etc) *Cocoa Powder, unsweetened *Sea Salt *Pepper Spices, Oregano, Thyme, Cayenne Pepper, Celery Seed, Coriander, Annatto, Paprika, Cinnamon, Cloves, Curry, Coriander, Garam Masala, etc. Baking soda *Baking Powder *Hot Sauce, Sriracha Hot Sauce, Sambal Coconut Aminos Vinegar, Rice Vinegar, Apple Cider *Nut Butter of choice Chia Seeds Pork Rinds, for snacking Nori, for snacking and for sushi making Tuna canned in water, low sodium Whey Protein Powder of Choice, I keep chocolate and vanilla on hand at all times *Oil, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Sesame Oil, Avocado (optional) 60-100% Cacao Chocolate Tomato Sauce Tomato Paste Coconut Milk Coconut Flakes, dried and unsweetened *Low Carb Marinara, or you can make your own following my recipe Liquid Smoke, if desired |
Fridge*Eggs - part of the holy keto trinity in my book, I use 60 a week
*Butter - part of the holy keto trinity in my book *Bacon- part of the holy keto trinity in my book Cheese, Cream Cheese, grassfed is preferable Cheese, Cheddar or Other of Choice, grassfed is preferableCheese, *Parmesan, grassfed is preferable *Leafy Greens - Spinach is my green of choice *Broccoli, Asparagus or Cauliflower *Heart of Palm - these contain large amounts of potassium and have zero net carbs *Lemons or Limes *Almond Milk or Half and Half Full Fat Salad Dressing, sugar free (if desired) Dijon Mustard *Onion *Garlic (I buy mine peeled at the asian store in town) Fresh Cilantro and Italian Parsley (keep these in a glass of water covered with a plastic produce bag to retain freshness) Chile, Serrano (optional) Chile, Pasilla (optional) Strawberries Whipped Topping , Whipped Cream or one can of coconut milk ready for whipping if needed *Avocados |
Freezer*Pork Chops or Roast
*Chicken Breast *Steak Shrimp (I always have shrimp on hand since it cooks fast and easily absorbs flavors) Mirepoix - equal parts chopped carrot, celery and onion (this is handy for making soups) |
