We love korean BBQ, it's one of those things that we could easily eat daily but due to its sugar content and cost we refrain ourselves. So a few months ago I decided to try out my own recipe which I now adapted to be paleo friendly.
Ingredients
Marinade:
1 Kiwi, peeled
1/2 cup garlic cloves, whole
1/2 large onion
1 scallion, whole and washed
1 cup stevia
1 cup Coconut Aminos
1/4 cup Sesame oil
2 lbs your choice of meat, thin cut roughly 1/4 inch thick at most
Directions,
In a blender, blend all marinade ingredients
Place your meat in a ziplock bag, pour in marinade and move it around to cover all the meat.
Marinate for 8 hours or overnight, which is best.
When ready, grill low and slow until you have reached your desired doneness.
I serve mine with salad and shirataki noodles, or kimchi.
Enjoy!
