I've been trying to push myself into consuming less carbs (yes, even the good kind) over the last two and a half weeks. The goal is to consume under 30g a day in order to be able to keep my protein and fat consumptions higher in order to trick my metabolism to go from burning glucose from carbs to ketones from fat. You might notice that some of my recipes are now missing things such as fruits, bananas in particular. I've removed them in order to meet my carb intake goals but fear not they will be back when I have carb days again (in roughly one and a half weeks). So for now, join me as I experiment with the idea of being paleo and keto. We'll see if they can coexist or if I have to choose between the two.
